Edit2: The two singles out of new FF still sound like Gorod on speed, not a bad thing but I find Archspire's approach way more original and engaging.

Agreed. This was fun but thought the new rec was quite a significant improvement. Fans of tech-death should check out Intransigence by Abhorrent. Pretty enjoyable rec as far as tech-death goes.
