really like this, been following this project for what feels like years now I'm glad it turned out so good. It's kinda funny how similar to billy talent the music sounds at points it really undercuts the message sometimes lol

Actually listened to this in full a second time with as open mind as I could, the only track I thought was decent front to back was 'IV', EASILY the best thing here for me. 'V' is good until the clean vocal part. Everything else had intermittent cheesy/embarrassing sections that snapped me out of my listen.

The acoustic song definitely reminded me of Linkin Park and is 100% not good, though I do like the sound of rain always.

Prob best you don't recommend more stuff for me to 2, pretty sure I've got a Converge album and maybe a Refused album rated above a 3. Do I get a pass?

Don't know why you jammed this or Counterparts in the first place unless objectivity is that important

And Enter Shikari? Really

Yeah, you see I know enough to realise name dropping Enter Shikari was a joke.

Mars I just listen to most anything that comes out, esp if it gets some traffic here. The only genres I don't listen to at all would be black metal, extreme noise, opera and classical.

I mean in 2000 I was listening to Refused, Will Haven, At the Drive-In, Fugazi, Far and stuff like that. People here never actually look at my ratings I swear.

You're better than blind objectivity boosts mister. You're a contrib, now act like it

I don't acknowledge or care about the genre. It's only a sub class of rock that sounds a bit like Refused or whoever.

Sinks or swims on its own merits within the greater realm of rock which itself is hardly a particularly important distinction beyond song based guitar music. Genre distinctions have zero impact on my interpretation of an album.

Doof, you're actually fine. I don't care. It's funny how Lucid made up his mind on a rating before he even listened to this album, and then he asked you to come listen to it though lol. (I was checking your ratings like you wanted)
