"After Midian it's more a case of the occasional good or great track among a bunch of "eh" or just crap songs. "Nymphetamine Fix" is a tune, for example. If you took the best track(s) from each album in that middle era together as a single release, you'd probably have a pretty great album, so it's a shame they're all spread out."

Nymphetamine and Thornography go hard in the paint, and Godspeed has some a lot of great material though it is a bit bloated.

This is where I contend again that Damnation is unfairly shat upon.

I will man. I'm a complete and utter thrash noob. Or Meshuggah's first two have to count... But I want to get to know the genre a little better.

Honestly I'm a thrash noob myself, but its more that I don't often hear thrash that I'm into. Most of Metallica isn't really thrash, and the best parts of Megadeath are more prog / straight metal imo, and I don't even like the other 2 of the big four.

Besides Death Angel and Testament, I might even go so far as to admit I kinda just don't like thrash on its own.

So down here in the shadow of the Valley of Kings

Let this sticky situation spur on fertility

Come be my perennial Queen

Never seen the sun

Never been undone

Never thought her velvet ports

Would wean such masturbations

NEVER IN A THOUSAND YEEAAAAARS
