I agree it has a good flow to the interludes. I want to hear every one of these songs live, especially Serpent's Eye and the closing track. I feel like the tracks on this album have an energy that will translate really well in a live setting, more so than their previous releases, I'm sure that was intentional on the part of the band, a lot like what they did with Black Cascade.

I wouldn't say the guest vox feel forced, but I can see why one might. They don't add a ton, but I thought they were at least fairly effective rather than an afterthought.

Yeah I like clear a lot as well, I think the only clear record I have is Pillorian's Obsidian Arc. After collecting a lot of colored presses over the years I'm kind of starting to move back towards basic black, especially if I feel a colorful record doesn't really fit the album.
