“Be there early and check Ioanna Gika too, Wildcard, she's opening for her and she's great.”

Will do. I usually try to support the openers even if they’re not my thing.

Just basing this off the opening track, I’m hoping the album is a cross between Apokalypsis and Pain is Beauty. I’ll be upset if she fully abandons her newer, more metallic material, since that’s the sound that got me into her music in the first place, but I’ll be content if at least shows progression from her previous sound. I just don’t want another folksy record.

“How much of a hot take is it that I think this is her best album”

Dude her last three albums are all so close to being perfect in my eyes that if someone told me any of them were their favorite I wouldn’t argue. I trust that what she’ll put out this year will be good, I just hope that it’s closer to what I want to hear. And even if it isn’t, I’m just glad that she continues to mature as an artist even seven albums into her career.

She’s one of my favorite songwriters and one of the most talented musicians still working imo.

Confirmed acoustic tour on Sargent House’s IG

gotta say I’m pretty disappointed. Still going, and I’m sure it’ll be a good time, but I was really hoping to hear some tracks off this and Abyss.

Already know I’m not gonna like this as much as her last few records. Decent track, but her acoustic stuff never was my favorite.

Yeah I’m liking it more the more I listen to it.

Still kinda disappointed she’s giving up on the Abyss/Hiss Spun sound, but I’m very excited for this record

I don't thing she gave up on that sound, this is just a transition / spin off / in between kind of record according to what she said in interviews.

I hope she sticks to that. Abyss and Hiss Spun are so good that it would just feel like a waste if she gave up on that type of music, it feels like she’s so close to perfecting that sound

this album felt like a literal self-exorcism so i'm entirely okay with the acoustic/calmer direction for the upcoming LP.

Tbh I think an acoustic album after this is the only direction that makes sense

Why does it make sense? Just curious, as I am 100% down for an acoustic album/tour
