It's absolutely ridiculous to compare anything that NBT have done so far(and they're a good band) to Muse's Origin of Symmetry or Absolution in terms of quality.

There were a lot of Msue comparisons when their debut dropped. Now? Not so much.

Their first album was pretty Musey(probably why I liked it more), they even toured together.

I listened to the delux not realising that tracks 12 and 13 (Reset me and Number 13) were bonus tracks.

So for me the album ended strongly as those last two are great.

It horrified me finding out the album - technically the official album doesnt have those songs.

Its like a 4 star down to a 3 without them almost. (Kept it at 4, should be lower to teach them a lesson leaving great songs off the list. The last 3 tracks arent the strongest so they need these bonus ones.)

Ayyy, I really tried with this one, but I can't rock with it. The only redeeming factors about this are the vocals and the musicianship for me. The lyrics are extremely basic, never going deeper than a kiddie-pool, and the production on this thing is absolutely horrendous.

Also, when did drum machines become this big a thing in complete bands? It sounds terrible, especially intertwined with the real drumwork.

These guys are like a mix of Muse, MuteMath, Radiohead, and Jeff Buckley. Their first album was a bit more Muse-ish than this though.

they've kinda had that in their first album too actually, but I wouldn't consider them a main influence.

The singer does sound a lot like Jeff Buckley, he even reminds me of The Antlers singer in how he phrases things from time to time too.
