I just hate the fact that they took away all of the charm from the previous album and trying to do something that is really boring and completely washed out/wallpaperish.

I don't know why but I always had the impression that peripheral vision was a fluke as much as I adore that record. Seems like this is the let down I was somewhat expecting.

Peripheral Vision was a lightning in a bottle masterpiece, one of those rare albums that feels like it's been around forever. This hasn't impressed me thus far, but I'm hoping it'll grow.

This has grown on me, but it' nowhere even close to Peripheral Visions. The stagnant repeat of tempo and mood throughout the record gets draining after a while.

Yeah, I've jammed it 7 times or so and it kinda just all blurs together at the end of it, including my favorite tracks.

yeah, a lot of the same tempo/themes. also feels like the guitar is a little too far back in the mix. i think the album would benefit from guitars being a bit louder, as the parts would stick out a little bit more. curiosity is an early fav.
