Abysmal record. Guitar tone is the antithesis of heavy, as are some of these limp-wristed thrash metal riffs (“Disappear”). Songs go nowhere, vocals are significantly weaker on all fronts to the point of sounding like parody, maybe 1 1/2 worthwhile riffs on the whole record. The poorly-written, life-affirming lyrics betray their own legacy. How could David Gray sign off on this? He surely didn’t write this crap, that’s for sure.
