Their debut is neither overrated nor underrated
A proper 3-3.5 album

nah the debut is terrible its only tolerable if you were in middle or high school when it came out and I was and i was living not far from the bands origin on long island, but aside from nostalgia feels its not that good their B sides album is better, actually that b sides album is amazing so underappreciated by the fanbase, the ''leaked demos'' album i used to listen to bootlegs of it, but they released it properly in like 2015, tho they re-recorded some of the songs which I thought sucked, the originals were better, songs like 'Fork and Knife'' from that are better than anything on the debut

Nice uninformed rant. It wasn’t a “B-Sides” album, it was leaked demos pre-devil and god. Comparing them to their debut is a pretty irrelevant argument considering deja came out in between and the band had years between their debut and those demos. It is also most definitely not “under appreciated”... it was so appreciated they officially released it and re-recorded several tracks off of it.
The debut is great for what it is, but it’s high schoolers playing pop punk by the numbers.

Shortly after recording the classic Ace of Spades album in 1980, Taylor broke his neck after being lifted above the head of a friend in a test of strength, only to be dropped on his head. Taylor continued to play in Motörhead with the aid of a neck brace, as is visible in the music video for "Ace of Spades". As a result, Taylor had a prominent lump located on the back of his neck (affectionately referred to as his "knob"), thought to be a calcium deposit caused by his previous spinal trauma. Tour-disrupting injuries were not unfamiliar to Taylor at the time, as he had previously broken his hand whilst punching a man outside his flat in London. Taylor continued to drum by using gaffer tape to attach his drum stick into his hand until it had sufficiently healed.

I agree, I just don't see how calling that out diminishes the high quality, youthful pop punk of yfw ... I apparently still care too much about this canceled band haha

Cancel shmancel
Yeah yfw is pretty fun though and has some great stuff on it

You care more about this band than Lacey cares about informed consent :P

seventy times seven slaps, but YFW was lower than mid before the allegations even came out

YFW is full of pop punk bangers and some low key classic ballads that endured the test of time. It's a solid 4-4.5 as far as I'm concerned.

It’s a solid 2-2.5 as far as I’m concerned.
