Watching Boney go from BN hater to scoping out the haters in their threads has been one of the best developments in post-2015 Sput.

I never hated them really, I gave this a 3 initially and then when I went back to it after hearing and loving the rest of their stuff I bumped it. But I didn't listen to them for a long time because I was afraid of actually liking them due to my alignment with Doof/zak, lol.

Idk I’m beyond really saying it’s an awful song, I just personally hate it

Fair enough. I’m intrigued how you could HATE it (indifference, sure), but it’s all good. I know how sometimes a song just truly irks you and you can’t even pinpoint why.

Something about American Football’s Every Wave to Ever Rise does the same thing to me (though I don’t hate it, it just annoys me for some reason).

It’s the song on that album most like LP2 is why

I kinda get why people would dig it, but they pull of the same thing far less languidly at other points on LP3 I think? The Rachel Goswell song comes to mind. Then again I find Heir Apparent a snooze so maybe my take on that album is rogue anyway haha

That album is all about the bookends, Uncomfortably Numb and Doom in Full Bloom for me but I get the appeal of Heir much more than Every Wave

"Heir Apparent" is my favorite on AF3, they lean real hard on the dream pop on that one
