a friend of mine had plans to get a Daisy tattoo, i told her about the shit Jesse was involved in. she didnt really give a fuck, ended up getting it anyways.

i did not mean that the tattoo would evoke the shit Jesse was involved in, because really i don't care, it's just that for most of people (?), their time listening to BN was not the happiest. On the second thought, go for it, and share the design with us!

Pretty sure anyone with a brand new tattoo already has depression

Still a 5.0 and the best album of 2017 yea.

2017 had so many superb records for me (Manchester Orchestra, Gang of Youths, Fleet Foxes, Lorde...) that it was easy to bump Science Fiction down a few spots on my end of year list in light of the controversy. But if I'm focusing just on the music then this barely edges Black Mile and Crack-Up as my album of '17.

Glad to see goober's review is still up and that he still has it at a 5. This is their 2nd best album. Absolutely crazy to admit that. What a jam.

If the album was a little more concise I could see myself giving it a five. Can't Get It Out, Waste, Same Logic, 137, and In the Water are seriously some of the best songs they've written. That said, Batter Up is great, but I think it could've been a tad shorter, No Control is plain as vanilla and I just can't stand Could Never Be Heaven.
I really think it could've used more aggressive moments as well. It's been a minute since I've jammed it but I think Same Logic is the only song on here that gets shouty.
As it stands today: Daisy>Sci Fi>Devil and God>>Deja>>>YFW
Could change, the album has grown on me tremendously since it released.

why would anyone hate Could Never Be Heaven? It's just a nice little acoustic song with great lyrics. Even if it's not a "banger", I don't see why someone would act like it's a bad song.
Also, Waste is bland as fuck and I never understood the love for it
