well this is the album of the 90's, the review kind of sucked, it could of went in more to all the songs but besides the fact. Rage Against the Machine is definatly the band of the 90's.

I don't wanna talk about more songs. It still sucked? :upset:

Another day, did you notice he said all of the songs sounded the same? That would mean it's not necessary to go into detail about each track. Don't worry Matrix, this is a fine review. Not great, but not poor. Another Day is just a fanboy who is pissed that his favorite album ever got something under a 5.

I really don't agree with you, I absolutely love this album and never find it boring, but you did the review well, explaining your points with detail and such. One thing was a possible overuse of the word boring....Also the guitar uses power chords quite rarely, and is done very interestingly....(although the latter part of that is just my opinion.) Godd review, just not a rating I agree with.

Thank you sirs/ladies if there are any. I kinda rushed the review, I have exams in a week.
I avoided the use of "boring" :-
Edit: How are the power chords rarely used?

Morello actually doesn't use power chords so much, it's usually just one note and it somehow sounds very powerful (help from the bass? idk). And it isn't boring at all, you just outlistened to it and didnt enjoy it as much as before so you're writng a grumpy review. :-)
I'm sorry but you can't just make a negative review to counter all the positive ones.

I wanna listen to more RATM since I have it, but I don't wanna at the same time.

I love this album. Disagree with the rating, but the review's not bad. You share the same opinion with a couple of my friends, that Zack repeats himself too often. I don't mind it, however.
This review also reminded me that I wrote a rather crappy blurb for this album.

I disagree with virtually everything you said in your review. But it was fairly well written so I won't neg you.

I completely disagree with you, but you went out on a limb by doing this, and your writing was good. Nice job.

I dislike this review very much. It's far from boring and repititive. It's completely filled with energy from the opening Bombtrack to the end with Freedom with Zack screaming "Freedom! Yeah, Right!" You suck evil-doer-reviewer.
|
| |
You're just saying that because you want to elope with Zack De La Rocha.

I am a huge Rage fan, admiring every thing they've done...simply because, its RATM!
But, I have recently come to realize their self titled album is pretty borring. Your review only confirmed it. The songs on there, though genious...just get redundant. "Evil Empire" seems to have more lasting power.

perhaps you just got bored of this album by listening to it too much
because it's just really damn good and you may have been desensitized

Yeah, I like The Battle of LA more than this one, but this is one of the best debut albums I've ever heard. Every song is amazing.

AARRGGGHH how can this get a rating 3/5 "good"?!?!?
In a track-by-track review no single song should be rated less than 4,5/5. Besides this album was one of the most influencial of the 90s. And all of its lyrics are about politics and the guitar work by Morello.... DAMN.
This is the best album ever made.
