might just be that it's new while Get to Heaven's replay value finally shrank for me, but I honestly feel like this is their most cohesive, fulfilling album to date

yes would probably agree. Get to Heaven was brilliant when it came out but I don't revisit it much, this on the other hand seems to have more replay value

Reflecting on this some more, bumping the rating and coming to the conclusion that Put Me Together might have been the best song I heard in 2017.
Really nails the sort of creeping, privately held suspicion of others/passive xenophobia that I think is a very British thing. The spying on the neighbours over the garden fence and concluding that they can't be trusted because they sound a bit different.
It's fantastically on point lyrically/with it's message and also wonderfully constructed with great performances by all.
