I think Will's vocal delivery is even worse than her's

Two or three absolute clangers but I think a 3 is a pretty fair assessment. Certainly not all bad

I feel the hate is pretty justified, tbh. I just hate I like a couple tracks on here because most of this stuff would be at the bottom of even shitty artists’ discog. Like most of this would sound bad even compared Maroon 5

Electric Blue is total junk but it's definitely not the worst thing on here thanks to not only Peter Pan, but Chemistry (lol)

If Electric Blue were released by MGMT the hate wouldn’t be as strong. I hate I love that track but it’s amazing. It’s one of my favorites of the year so far. I really hate that it’s on this album. It’s a great song that doesn’t fit neither in this album nor in their discog, but for what it is, it’s awesome. I feel I should move this album down to a 1, but I’m reminded of that song and We Don’t Deserve Love, the only saving graces here
I’m not trying to repeat Pitchfork here because really I had predicted their stances when I first heard this album, but Electric Blue is an actual human moment here in an album extremely devoid of them. I’m glad they saw that too. Though, yes, it doesn’t fit at all, but it’s very misunderstood. I’ll shit on this album day and night, but Electric Blue is truly a gem.

LCD Soundsystem and The National both have the potential to top my 2017 list, we'll see
Edit: But also Alvvays and The War on Drugs have been slaying with the singles so

I'll admit, I hated this album when I first listened to it, but it's grown on me. I won't deny that 'Chemistry' is somewhat cheesy, but I think that's the vibe the band was going for: A sleazy pickup song by an overconfident bro character who won't take 'No' for an answer.
As for 'Infinite(_)Content', I feel the song would have been more successful if they'd mashed the two up, combining it into one song. As two individual songs, it's definitely filler-ish, but together it would be somewhat more cohesive.
Also, I found 'Peter Pan' to be rather loose on lyrical content, but it reminds me a bit of 'Flashbulb Eyes' from 'Reflektor', which I liked for its groove.

The National is something I’m really looking forward to. I’ve never liked LCD tho. So boring. American Dream is their best song I think but the other one sounds just like every other LCD Soundsystem song

LCD... boring? Interesting take.
All My Friends is still their best song

That song is just a repetitive piano piece with moaning vocals. Seven minutes is far too long for it. I’m tired of it by the time he starts singing lol. I can barely finish anything on that album. I don’t get the praise but whatevs
