Really like this album and all but is there's something I'm missing iwth all these 4.5s and 5.0s? It doesn't really draw me in musically enough to hit me over the hit, except for maybe with "Moth"

Ayyy Neeka, I think it's a beautiful, special album. A 4 is a reasonable score tho, several people just loved it more and that's it.

That's fair! I'll be sure to come back to it sometime, maybe I'll have softened to it as I often do (:

Neek this album is better than Science Fiction

Think about who just posted that statement and let it sink in

The best part of this album is that it isn't COPE and that they might make another great album without poor production choices. Also, for some reason I got a feeling we have a wholly good Bad Books record in store for us.

Is bad books still a thing? I love some of their work.

Hopefully you'll enjoy it even more next time around.

"Neek this album is better than Science Fiction"

It certainly is, but Sowing, that's quite the statement from you.

They just removed this from Apple Music. Along Bon Iver's s/t. Like... why?

Album rules. Easily better than the garbage that is science fiction.

To be fair, I like everything by these guys apart from the debut, which is dang boring

This should be alongside Gang of Youths on the top of 2017's chart.

Holy shit, this is amazing. Every other MO album needed two or three listens to grow on me (or in the case of Simple Math, about six). But this is a 5 on first listen. The tracklisting is just fucking perfect.

Love the eerie, inspirational, melancholy, reflective, wistful and regretful feeling to it all. It has a very distinct and consistent vibe/tone.

Absolutely. And it’ll only grow. I haven’t had an album hit me this hard on first listen in a LONG time.
