This is so beautiful. I can't stop listening to the entire album.

I've noticed a rather predictable trend with this band... they make an amazing album and flop on the next one, and then make another amazing album and then flop on the next one again. I find it both amusing and somewhat frustrating lol but I digress, maybe METN just needs to grow on me some more

I think The Mistake may be the only thing that keeps me from 5'ing this, at least for now. Though The Alien, Grocery and Silence may be enough to outweigh it in the long run

METN is actually growing me now too. Jammed it twice to today and I think its finally clicked

honestly not loving The Alien/The Sunshine still

The Parts is pretty weak too, & The Wolf and The Mistake don't leave much of an impression either way

if any of those grow on me considerably I might raise this a .5

and regardless, the good stuff here is so good it's virtually guaranteed a spot in my year-end Top 50

The Wolf didn't click for me as much until I gave more attention to The Silence. Those two just feel sonically different than the rest of the album, and they're solid bookends for the final (and maybe weaker) stretch of the album.

I think The Parts just reminds me too much of Andy's work in RAGC for me to dislike it at all.

yeah The Parts is.... ugh. I mean it fits the album's narrative rather well but its just not a good song. Only real blemish on this otherwise flawless album tho imo.

Giving this another shot right now. Trying to ignore the production choices this time and focus more just on the songwriting.

Too much reverb on the vocals for me, don't like the style of backing vox either.

Re-listened to this earlier reading along to some of the lyrics and enjoyed it a little more than I did the first few times, but still not having anything blow me away; it just feels like something is missing.
