I enjoy certain kinds of cheese a ton. Just not my brand of cheese is all.

i'm fine with cheese. i think jari's brand of instrumental cheese is great, it's his lyrics and vocal approach i find questionable on this album (and to a certain extent time i but it was easier to ignore there).
screaming "I AM THE MIIIIIIIIIIIST IN THE MOOOOOORNIIIIIIIIIIIING" without any real regard for the fact that conceptually that a sentence like that makes no sense to scream at the same level of energy as the rest of the vocals in the song, and he does this repeatedly - zero regard. it makes it come across as cheesy and ill-conceived. it totally takes me out of it, mega distracting.

I'm surprised by how harsh some of these comments are, I should say that I'm not only a metalhead and that may be where the difference comes in, but I enjoyed the grand symphonic statement of this album. I don't think it's any worse than Wintersun's self-titled.

The symphonic aspect of the music overall is meh. You’d have to be retarded beyond all reason to trash on the cover tho; that art is better than most releases today
