The Young Veins had formed, released an album, toured for it and broken up before vices and virtues dropped lol
Also, Spencer stepped away due to drug issues in 2013 and then officially left in 2015
Page break - go back to the last comment for explanation.

I might check that out then, always liked Ryan's voice a bunch

It is pretty nice, just went on a long run listening to the album and it was pleasant, super summery like this album.

I can really imagine Ryan Ross being a producer. this might be the best panic album, fever and Vices being close second. But the style is just amazing. And agreed on Urie being a good singer. I dig his feature on Every Time I Die - It Remembers

I hated the hell out of this when it first came out, because it was nothing like Fever. Grew on me a bit a decade later

Yea same, used to think it sucked and had no redeeming qualities outside of Nine in the Afternoon, but it's a very solid album

Nine in the Afternoon is actually one of my least favorite tracks on this album: That Green Gentleman, Northern Downpour, Mad as Rabbits, Shes a Handsome Woman and Behind the Sea are all jams. One of those albums you need to listen through in full though.

I'm not big on That Green Gentleman, Mad as Rabbits, or She's a Handsome Woman :[

This album really shows how many guts Panic! really had back in the day. Genre hopping on their fans on their second album. That's a bold move.

Now they just hop the trends. smh
Not denying Urie has a great voice though.

Disliked this back when I cared about perceived originality in music
Once I accepted that it's all the fucking same I came around, because this is actually really good in spots

RIP Panic! Still their best album.

Good riddance Brendan. This and the debut are the only 'real' panic albums. Band died when they split ~2009.
