new album is wonderful, probably softer than this but plenty of what i would call life-affirming moments on it.

Really good, only one listen, same level as Burst if not slightly better. Some of her drumming was mindblowing. Stef's voice won't please everybody but damn she has lungs. Also really liked the guitar work.

i agree, i'm absolutely blown away with Stefanie's vocals/drumming on this album but i guess i could say the same for any of the band's songs lol.
but really im sure the band brought their everything, ive just been too enamored with vocals and lyrics to pay too much to the instrumentation at the moment but overall it feels so warm and visceral. if i had to pick favorites i guess it would be "Cemetery", "Techno", and "War"...just, "War".
