tbh I was expecting a lighter and trimmed down album. It's kinda of refreshing seeing how dark the last two were.

the only reason why people are comparing this to Nickelback is because of Kroeger's comments.

nice guitar work here and there but this one is a bummer overall

Decent album, but missing the aggression of HOGAB.
Also, I fucking hate the song titles.

was house of gold and bones a freak accident after all
|

Just as expected the absence of Root hurts this record.

Need to listen to this, hesitant to do so considering House of Gold and Bones was so damn good though, especially with Root out of the picture.

"Thank God It's Over
can't wait to say this about Corey Taylor's music career"
lmfao

haven't heard this yet, but what's behind the Soviet imagery on the album art? And the album's name also Hydrograd = water city. Does the album praise Communism or something?

Idk about the art's story, but according to an interview Corey did the name is straight up gibberish, dude misread a sign or something and decided his misreading sounded cool so they used it as the title.

I think that Corey receives too much hatred but he's actually a good singer and composer.
