This is fair, when I submitted the edits I had the numerals in parantheses, like what they did on Allmusic

''On the Air'', ''D.I.Y.'', ''White Shadow'' and ''Exposure'' are all aces.
I pos'd the review.

Impressed by how clear you manage to articulate your thoughts, always been the best thing about your writing. Analysis is super good, too, pos! And convinced me to check this out.

@Jethro no love for Mother of Violence?
|
| |
I've heard a bit of early Genesis, but none of his solo stuff. Would his debut be a better starting point?

''Mother of Violence'' would not be a highlight in another PG album, but here, it could be one ;)

@Blush, You can't go wrong with Gabriel. His discography is all impressive.

@Jethro you take that back lol
@Blushful, his debut is one of my 5s haha so I could be a bit biased but if you're starting from his Genesis stuff I'd definitely say so!

Why is the 4th Peter Gabriel not Peter Gabriel (IV)

Interesting theory.

Because in America his label got pissed he kept never having a name and threw a sticker on it that just said "Security" when they forced him to give them a name
So officially its just Peter Gabriel but in America it's known as Security

this and the debut were super hard to get into. i really wonder how some artists manage to create such odd sounding music with a real, working strategy or idea behind it. like, how the fuck do you come up with this? music was just on another level back then.
