Yeah, definitely - the songs are better written on that. It's the personality bypass on that album that's most damaging, it sounds a bit like an act.
This album is badly written and generic and has no distinguishable personality. That's as damning as you can get. People take the mick out of Nickelback but I swear the lyrics on their latest album won't be as boring as these. Also, Kerr is the most unexciting singer I could name you. Plus they put bad quality QOTSA pastiche backing vox in what feels like every single tune here.
This is legitimately dog awful c'mon people - it's nowhere near the debut, which itself was a 2-2.5 album.
