i didn't like green light originally but now i do
also, try and listen to green light and supercut straight after each other. it works out really well

four tracks in and nothing about this feels very exciting to me. really bland and uninteresting but maybe that'll change

the deeper cuts of the album are my favourite so hopefully you feel the same. Supercut, Sober II, Hard Feelings/Loveless and Writer in the Dark are all so good

Wow, rough day to put up a review. I thought the mods had pulled all of the Lorde reviews off the board for some reason, but now I realize they just got blown off by all the reviews I guess people were sitting on because they couldn't get on the site for 2 days. Hate when that happens.

I've been particular impressed with your reviews lately. I commend your creativity...this will likely be better than my review when it surfaces.
This album is incredible and may very well be my pop AOTY in a year that's been particularly good to the genre thus far. Last year I gave a 5 to two albums in the same week, and it's not impossible that this could join FF as a totally different but equally impressive record for me. Still have to let a few more things sink in/register but this is no worse than a 4.3.

yeah diva, doesn't help that the album came out basically at the same time as the servers came back up. i don't mind, though, i didn't expect many people to see this review bc i had a feeling there'd be a couple of them up already.
sowing: thank you so much but i highly doubt this will be better than yours. also i am so happy that she has surpassed my expectations, she's such an impressive artist

In hindsight I seriously wish she didn't release so many singles and perform so many of the songs before the album's release date. Already feel like I somewhat wore it out

i thought those were a bit spoiler-y too, alex. it hasn't detracted from the album too much for me, considering i like every song that wasn't a single more than the singles themselves
