katy perry actually sucks at singing, that much is a fact. i like her timbre, but she has no technique whatsoever

it was fine when she was doing punky tongue-in-cheek stuff on One of the Boys but she's not nearly as listenable when she's trying to be taken seriously

The problem is that right after One Of The Boys she became the *epitome* of bland pop music with Teenage Dream onwards. Even when she's trying to be political and all "my third eye has opened and you're gonna hear what it sees" it just sucks. she's flopping hard
