i figured that if i gave this more time i'd probably enjoy it more. same thing with helplessness, except with that one it was a bit more immediate. third of may/odaigahara and another ocean will make it on my decade list, for sure

This album reminds me more of Sun Giant than of Helplessness Blues. Not that that is a bad thing just that this album feels like Fleet Foxes attempting to find their groove again after being gone for six years. The musical landscapes this album builds though are incredibly layered and rich in detail, I'm excited to see where their next release goes.
