If you're referring to the spoken word Justplathemus, you're wrong ;)

The spoken word stuff is great, just as the rest of this. It's a bit samey, agreed on that, but it doesn't overstay its welcome

It's got more personality! I feel like I should still try some more Converge down the line

I didn't mean the spoken word stuff, BeyondCosby ;) Although I'm not too fond of it, I accept it as one of the quirks of this band.

I actually feel there are several songs that I would've liked so much better if they would've cut some parts out of them. I don't mind their length, it's just that I always find myself wanting to skip ahead and get to the good parts.

I like Opacities much more. Though even there, some songs are dragging at the end.

You're right, I just thought I'll dig this. I mean, I could never really get into the first 2 albums before this came out, no matter how much I tried/wanted to. And when I heard that this is different, or dare I say, a little more accessible, I instantly thought that this will be definitely my cup of tea.

Been spinning this hard the last few weeks again. Its fucking great. The only part of the album I don't really like is Spencer's guest spot.

I don't mind Spencers part, but there is something weird about his vocals.

This album rules agreed m/

I thought Spencer was perfect on Cracks of Light and I usually find his clean vocals to be obnoxious.

He does fot there definetly, but what kind of effect is there on his vocals? Maybe it's just compression

Obviously Spencer is a talented vocalist, and he sounds right at home here. Makes sense because Periphery is pretty much a Sikth ripoff in the first place. I wouldn't have even been mad if Spencer had replaced Justin.

I just think the vocal melody is completely at odds with the rest of the song.

Haven't heard this in a while, but I think he fits here. It would be plain awkward if he was featured on the first 2 albums lol
