Good album not quite great I probably like fooling yourself and man in the wilderness the best on here however come sail away has always been a take it or leave it song for me not to mention a couple others on this album.

i really enjoy 2 of the four singles ive heard from this band. the other two i thought were terrible. seeing neither of those two songs are on here, is this worth checking out?

I'd say yes. This is the most praised album along with Pieces of Eight and it's some solid late '80s cheesy prog rock. This is where I started with these guys as well.

I started with their greatest hits and honestly that's the way to go if you're just digging the singles. In time you might start to appreciate hidden gems like Queen of Spades or Castle Walls.

Randomly listening to "Come Sail Away" and decided to check out the reviews for Styx's discography, only to find they've put out a shit-ton of albums that appear barely given any attention.
As someone who's never really listened to the band but generally likes all things prog... is Styx a good band?
