Never did expect this band to get shit on so hard tbh. Always thought they would release consistently good material. Shame what happened to the band though. RIP StS.

I def didn't neg out of disagreement. I feel like he should have changed the name of the band. Seriously this isn't StS anymore.

I was the biggest StS fanboy there was, I swear to Christ. Dark Horse was, interestingly, a shadow of a terrible thing to come, and Blue Sun felt like a piano crushing me from a 20 story fall. I knew then that V was going to be a disappointment and it sure as shit was. Royal Orphan was a flippin disaster and I can't imagine there is a way back. No fanboy has a damn leg to stand on.

Unforgivable

Scott Carstairs' solo spot is spectacular, as expected.

What is the deal with Chris? I never paid that much attention to the band themselves....last album was great though. How much worse can this be?

Band drama aside, as a piece of music I wouldn't say it's BAD. Boring and homogeneous, sure, but its above-par easy listening.

Seen a few people bring this up here, but I'd actually be really interested to see someone make the case that the majority of the band leaving didn't have any impact on the music in this case.

Heard it a few days ago, nothing impressive. Caught StS last year and they sounded good. Cant say I am a big fan to begin with.

band has always been a bit on the boring side for me, so i'm not too surprised. They have potential to do soo much better imo

So is the deal with Chris that he wouldn't pay the other band members? Haven't heard anything until now.

yea basically. he was pushing his own merch at merch tables and not the band's so when they were in the red he didn't care much cause he's milking his own product, then when they ask for more money for recordings he says the band can't afford it. pretty sticky situation from what I've read

this album is fine. it's inoffensive waiting-room/elevator music.

i've been spinning this while working my boring desk job, it's better than silence

I like this band on facebook but I don't think I've ever actually heard one of their songs. Probably not a good time to start eh
