The game was very young at the time indeed, but when I played with my friends, the cards actually had text on them. 90% of the cards in FM were vanilla. Graphically the game looked pretty nice though.

every time this gets bumped I see "Falls of Rauros" and am promptly disappointed

Someone modded Sacred Cards to include a much larger amount of cards and some additional world spaces. GBA modding communities are still booming so nicely (I actually worked on some Pokemon Emerald mods a while back)
