Still an amazing jam and a half, Slight The Odds still gives me chills

The first songs are so fucking bad. Mixing ruins this as well. The heavy 'Slipknot' songs are bad af and the production really doesn't help. The slower, more Synthwave inspired songs are great, and songs like Patience and Slight the Odds are cool too, but they are all in the back half of the record, making it hard to get too without quitting. Half as Dead is decent as well tbh

I don't know if I like the sound of that...

I mean, it can either be a complete disaster, or it could be that ambitious push they need to get back up again.
Not to mention they're relaunching their fanclub, which I'm half-tempted to join in.

they're surprisingly softer songs, no harsh vocals in them. I mean I like them sure, but I just hope that doesn't mean no harsh vocals at all.
