I tend to always start with the newer releases to be part of the discussion. Emperor of Sand was my first Mastodon album, embarrassingly I suppose, and I've been working my way backwards ever since. Something tells me I'm going to be spinning Hushed and Grim for a long time though, so it might be a while until I get to Crack The Skye. I have no doubt I'll love it though; the band hasn't produced a sub-4 outing for me yet.
