i mean, it was more that the whole song is really kitsch but is also very intentionally so and i'm sorry that it puts a poor taste in your mouth, but also as far as i'm concerned it's essential to the record, hence the shrug

that was for p4p.

the kitschiness wasnt really a problem until that specific part, it was just too much for me.

I actually am okay with the vocals at 2:10 but before that bit they're kinda cringy yeah, could've been better.

intentionality does not universally excuse something for not working

it might be intentional and essential but it still seems to be pretty often highlighted as the worst part of the album by a long-shot. sounds like some listeners don't think it does an otherwise great ep any favours. might be a criticism worth not just passively shrugging off.

you do realize you're not the only group of people listening to this EP right?

Boba Bar is honestly one of my most popular live tracks, and audiences often sing along to it

honestly, you win some, you lose some.

this is much better produced honestly

On the other hand, it was a very specific track with very specific goals in mind so I probably won't write anything close to it again, which is why it might seem like i'm shrugging off your criticism
