If that's wat mainstream music is about then wad the hell... That's screwing unfair... I know that most of u guys ain't got the looks but can lay down better materials then this Arse shakers... Seriously... i know tons of gals that go gaga over this boys but say that Busted is gay.... Isn't that contradicting?????

i saw a guy talking about this, but simple plan is ****. But before they became gay (by the way they really are, look at their drummer) they where - Reset - and they were good. fast punk. now they sold out probably for the money, change their name to save their case, and became gay pop ****

You have no idea how much that pisses me off.

Very nice review. I'd just like to say that I'm usually pretty open to people's opinions on bands, but when people say good things about Simple Plan and (grrrr....) Good Charleotte, I actually believe that they are WRONG.

You people sure know how to make something seem sh!itter than it is. The album isn't even that bad...i'd rate it 3/5.

Simple Plan don't think they're punk....if you could be bothered, go waste 10 minutes on their site (simpleplan.com) and read the article about the band. They don't even care what you wanna call them, punk (i know all of you here don't wanna call them that), rock, pop, I suppose 'sh!t' would do (if you hate them that much).

I think the music is great, but yes Pierre sucks (not totally, but he's not great) and he must be gay (don't know for sure but). If David Desrosiers (the bassist) did lead vox they'd be a much better band. Mainly because he can sing better.

Their DVD is hysterical and it shows the real side of them. They're not just a material band. Someone didn't just go find 5 guys to be in a band and make it come across as though they played instruments - they really do and they are talented......if your into punk and you just hate this band cuz you believe them to be pop-punk (or whatever) DON'T! Listen to their albums, listen to their interviews....don't judge them til you really know what they're like.....and if you still hate them afterwards that's fine to , i'm not saying you should worship this band, but don't dis what you don't know.

And please don't call me obscenities for having my opinion.........

No offense, but don't you think you might be a tad biased? There is nothing wrong with liking a band alot, even Simple Plan. But you have to be able to look at the band objectively. No, not everything your favourite band touches turn to gold, and conversely, not everything your least favourite band does is crap.

All bands have good and bad qualities and aspects, some moreso than others. I know with the Smiths I can easily admit their faults, because they have many. It doesn't make me any less of a fan, it just means that I can think objectively and see most sides of the issue. You should try it, it would get you alot more respect, and you might even learn to love your favourite band despite their faults. And perhaps discover some other great bands along the way? Good luck .

I can look at them objectively.....firstly - they aren't the best band....the song titles for every song aren't that creative eg. 'Perfect' says perfect, 'I'd Do Anything' says I'd do anything etc etc etc.....Pierre isn't the greatest singer.....Some of the lyrics to some songs suck.....

The whole reason I wasn't gonna say why they were good and why they weren't is cuz I didn't want some smart *** saying something like "If there's things you don't like about - why like them?"

I CAN see everyone elses side of the issue, that is if they have a reason for hating them (which some do, but others just couldn't be bothered listening to them) . I have reasons for liking them as well....ok...?

Simple Plan really, REALLY sucks. If you wanted a bunch of whiney, ball-less losers, Simple Plan is there for you.

I bet MTV are going to make some gay show called "Simple Plan live 24/7" which features the members in their various houses. All in attempt to promote their music. Like the use of the band in that horibaly shit movie, "New York Minute".

1. Not Punk Rock!!!
2. Simple Riffs and Cut My Wrist lyrics
3. Goes along with Good Charlotte as poseur pop rock.
4. Liking Simple Plan does not make you "Hardcore"
5. They will never be punk rock. Never.

Well, Simple Plan are okay. I mean, I can stand them, but they're not exactly my favorite band. I just like the image of 'I'd Do Anything'. See, I saw it on P-Rock a while ago and it reminds me of that kind of punky image. Well, I can't realy explain. NM, good review, tho. Hehe.
