^ Agreed.

I mean Chuck and Sabbath are up there, but yes, songwriting was def one of Maiden's strengths.

Not a PoS fan tbh, but DeGarmo hell yeah.

I just wish the Rÿche would have brought him back.

DeGarmo is criminally underrated.
Early Queensrÿche was insanely good.

Harris made a few blunders though, especially during the 90's. His repetitive songs on the Blaze albums are the main reason they're not up to standard, as opposed to the change in vocalists. Unfortunately, he carried some of that repetition through to Brave New World and beyond.

But the Blaze albums were nowhere near as bad as the lows Queensryche sunk to.

Mindcrime > Any Maiden album

You could sure make a great case for that, even if Maiden did not sink as low in the late 90s.

i dig the compositions on blaze albums (i get the point though, they can be repetitive at times)
and i must agree that mindcrime is better than any maiden album, but overall maiden is a far better band than queensryche

Mindcrime is one of the greatest albums of all time, but Maiden managed to keep a solid discography for the majority of their career, so they win this one.

As much as a love SSoaSS, Mindcrime certainly has the better concept for sure. It's too bad the sequel was just average.
