They are indeed great albums, and Threads of Life is better than its reputation suggests

I place The War Within and The Art Of Balance on a pedestal as high or higher than albums like Ride The Lightning or Master of Puppets.

Sometimes I purposely avoid posting in certain threads, with the thought that they will haunt me forever and I'll forever regret commenting.
Didn't expect this one to start becoming such an active thread these last days though...

All it took was a thrust in the right direction...man, that was awful.

Casavir stop humanizing yourself, it's making me uncomfortable. Only songs on this I dug were Crushing Belial (of course), Serenity, and Root Bound Apollo which was by far the best song. The rest was eh and the clean vocals were really bad. At times they don't even fit with what the guitars are doing. I may actually like Art Of Balance more than this.

"Casavir stop humanizing yourself, it's making me uncomfortable."
I like bad puns, I can't help it.

Didn't expect Casavir to dig this album.
Then again, my reaction is probably the same as that of those guys in the DGD thread (I think it was Happiness?) when I bumped it, so no worries man.
