I have to strongly disagree, I find this an amazing take on the second wave of norwegian black metal.

Via metallum: Wiegedood is Dutch for "Sudden Infant Death Syndrome" (SIDS) (literally translates to "Death in the cradle").

Kvlt. According to google translate the title translate from Dutch to something like "The dead have the right". Whatever that means. Maybe something like the rights of the dead? Also krieg.

also forgot to mention, but their drummer and guitarist also play in Oathbreaker.

So, how do you pronounce this band name? Looks like "Wig-gey-dude" to me, but I know that can't be right.

I'd always pronounced it Weej-eh-dood (or something along those lines) but luckily I have never had to say it out loud

it's pretty hard to explain because in dutch it's pronounced with a hard G and I don't believe you have a something similar in english

I think it's something along these lines "We-guh-doht". It's not exactly like this but it's pretty close

It might be different in flemish though idk

"can't wait for De Doden III: Die Doden Die"

I think you mean De Doden III: Sterf Doden Sterf

But that just sounds weird.

Translations would of "de Doden hebben het goed" would be something like "The dead have it good"

Ontzieling ... Eugh something about removing the soul.

Cataract well, it's a eye disease called cataract so.

Smeekbede would be.. well a word that's more severe than appeal.

The dutch name has the cute ring of babymetal but the english translation has the ring of a slam death band.
