Ive always loved this album and continued loving it passionately thru my growing sense that internet nerds were overrating it/treating it as the end-all be-all of jazz records, maybe because of its consonance with classical stuff. Now I kinda think it’s only pretty good, and majorly overrated. I “get it” tho, obv

I don't know. I think this is a great record and I understand why many people who rank it as among their favourites. I personally prefer some other jazz records over this one but I still really love it.
