I like how understated this is compared to VDC. That album was almost suffocating with its sheer volume of sounds (in a good way) whereas this is definitely more than the sum of its parts. Just straightforward indie rock for the most part but it’s so smooth and catchy. It also flows better than most indie rock I’ve heard and never gets stale or overly-repetitive
