seems like something you might dig danielcardoso

I personally think it's a lovely album, but the site seems to be pretty lukewarm about it :/

Its a pleasant listen so far but ultimately nothing too memorable imo. Natural Blue is pretty good tho.

Morning Dove and closing track are two of my favorites if you haven't got that far yet, but it's really the lyrics that make this album special imo

Also really enjoyed Sea As It Glides. This is a really calm listen and i could even hand out a 3.5 on a great day, could use some more variety tho. Think i may settle for a 3 atm.

You make a good point with the lyrics Atari, but imo a singer-songwriter must articulate and spruce those words up to make them interesting and hard-hitting, no matter how well written.

I can definitely see where you're coming from. Her approach on this album is just really peaceful/calming to me and hits the spot, but I completely get how one could find it boring.

@danielcardoso, nothing wrong with a 3. This is like the complete opposite of a Regina Spektor album haha, but I like both artists for completely different reasons. It's just a really relaxing listen, and I'm a sucker for good lyrics

other than the standouts the rest of the tracks feel a bit like window dressing. they maintain the mood well though so the listening experience is sweet

Love her lyrics--the album a little less, but "Sleepwalker" reaches those heights

Just came upon this album; I actually like it quite a bit. I do think more could be done from a musical standpoint, but at the same time, I do enjoy something simpler every now and then, and this tickles that particular itch for me.

I'll be curious about her future efforts.

Her guitar picking is quite something, I didn't notice how good Sleepwalker was on first listens.

Well this is a solid and genuine album, maybe it will grow with time. Sleepwalker is my favourite track here, very emotional.
