I'm always in a yearning-for-the-days-of-DoDS-and-BMD-mode, but then I jam this and realize that in its own way this is incredibly good as well.
I enjoy Deal, Emptiness, Night, Kings...well enough, but I'm not as consistently into them as it's the case with this one

I love everything by these guys. The only album that I sometimes find a bit repetitive is Discouraged Ones. All the songs kind of blend together on that one.

Discouraged Ones has a few absolutely great tracks, but musically speaking they really went into a goth rock direction those times. With Last Fair Deal they brought some alternative into their sound, but since Viva Emptiness they realized they should kick up the instrumental heaviness a notch.
