I remember not liking the opening track on here but will relisten. I really enjoy remedy lane and perfect element.

Yeah they'll never top those albums. But they still have other worthwhile stuff.

Panther is nothing like those two, sp don't come with such expectations. It falls between Be and Scarsick, tbh, plus some elements from Passing Light

There are new elements imo, they've never been this electronic. It's nice they brought back melodies to some extend. What is similar to BE there?

There are many elements here, definitely, and the heavy use of effects makes it sound like there are no guitars at all. The BE factor for me here would be Unfuture, with that weird, bluesy and natural sounding intro, reminds me the more raw sound on BE, and then the song Wait, with the spanish passages and general atmosphere gives me some vibes from the exotic sounds of BE. When Daniel said that there are BE elements on the album I was like ''THANK YOU''

Yeah album sounds like Be on some parts, especially the broooooody slow tones, really Diffidentia, really that kind of Pain of Salvation. I had it non-stop today, probably am at the sixth full listen in a day lol

I was bummed at first because of the lyrics, but I dig the music so much. All experimentation here worked, which is noteworthy. Icon still needs to properly click, tho

Be is their wekest album imo :/ new album is different, I find more elements from Road salt and Passing than other albums.

It's not an easy album to get into though. It's weird, but in some of the best possible ways

Yeah the new album is probably their most creatively adventurous since Scarsick.

I'm kind of digging this.

The more cathartic build ups into almost stadium-esque electronic rock leads own, i.e Taming of a Beast. The djenty sections kinda suck tho ngl

Think I got tired of BE over the years. Cant recall the last time I've heard the whole thing.

I feel like Be is one of these albums which you CANNOT put in the background, it requires all of your attention to get enjoyement out of it. That being said, once you give it what it wants it's a great album
