@e21; Ah my bad, I thought you wanted to compare the first and second albums of each artists.

I'm not that familiar with Tim Buckley's discog. I only rated ''Goodbye and Hello'' and ''Starsailor''(I gave them a 4/5). and I have to refresh my memory about both.

Ok. There is some similitude with both artists in relation to their two first albums. Both debut albums are clearly weaker than their seconds. What I want to emphasize is the quality of their second albums and that both albums are great examples of the transtion of the music of the 60's to 70's. Anyway, in my opinion, "Goodbye And Hello" is better than "Space Oddity".

Gotcha, man. I think we're talking about the same thing but only differently. Trespass stands far from the psychedelic pop of From Genesis to Revelation and is also miles ahead quality-wise. With Trespass, Genesis also stays pretty much away from the 60's. Space Oddity is also a transitional album since Bowie left aside the psychedelic pop of his first album to enter more into the realm of the 70's folk/ spacey rock. So I thought you did the same approach with Tim Buckley's first and second album.

That being said, I'll give another spin to Goodbye and Hello.

Annnd of course, congratulations for your 50th review, mate. That's something since you're relatively new into the community. That's really a big score. Keep it up, my friend!

Nice review--congratulations on your 50th! This is a weird album for me as a fan. It's not his best, but there is a lot of interesting stuff going on, so I listen to it from beginning to end without getting bored. Like you said, it is a transition from the '60s into the '70s.

Thanks buddy. As you can see once more we agree each other. It isn't his best but is good enough to be tasted and appreciated as it deserves.

Nice to see this reviewed again. This is almost a forgotten album of Bowie. As some said it has its merits. Another excellent review man. Have a pos.
