When I originally saw this cover I was scared that they went all soft and did some shitty post-black album.
While this is absolutely more melodic than their previous albums it still rips.

Yeah it's lovely. I have the cassette on the way which looks gorgeous as well. Gonna go the triad and buy the vinyl when it's out as well

Hopefully the vinyl packaging is a bit better than the one from Henbane.
I could hardly read the dark green text on the black background. Looked neat, but that's a minor complaint I have about it.

Bummer to see rating of this work of genius gradually dropping. It's like some just deliberately rate it a 1 without having actually listened to the album...
(...then again, I rate almost anything I think is great a 5 so...)

My LP package came today. Packaging is so awesome. Love having the booklet with the lyrics written out in the proper play format. Each scene has separate art in the booklet which corresponds to the picture on the picture disc. Really cool.

I rarely ever listen to this despite how perfect it is, because I REALLY have to have the time to sit down and get engrossed in the atmosphere/story to fully appreciate it, and it's so long I haven't had that time in a while.
