that riff at 4:25 on tears of a nation goes hard. this is one of the easiest albums to listen to front to back, the hour just seems to disappear, which just constitutes incredible songwritting by the man himself

yeah not usually into this kinda music usually but I like this so far. but why are the vocals mixed so oddly? Are they supposed to be quiet/indistuinguishable?

They're more or less like that on the 2 predecessors too, you could argue that he sounds like hes's got more socks in his mouth on this one though as Seven beautifully put it, idk the vocals are honestly such a marginal component of the overall package that I don't feel too strongly about them.
