I feel like most of the songs here range from good to amazing, but the flow is weird here

Also, Where I End and You Begin builds up only not release which is lame

actually, this is two-thirds a hard 2 mixed with one-third a hard 4 so it's probs fair idk

a few great songs for sure (there there is a top 5 radiohead song), but overall i'm not a big fan. It really is a incoherent mess

I'm mostly bothered that Where I End And You Begin and We Suck Young Blood are next to each other since they're like 2 of my least favorite Radiohead tracks ever

If you don't count Pablo Honey tracks or b-sides, both songs are bottom 3 Radiohead (with Burn the Witch)

If you swapped Where I End... for The Gloaming, I would rate everything about that comment and it would still be accurate re. adjacency

Burn the Witch and Where I End And You Begin both do this irritating thing where the build and build and build and build without any resolution, it's irritating, though Burn's worse because its percussion is gross

It's like Radiohead accidentally deleted the last minute of Where I End And You Begin and were like "fuck it"

Burn's pizz work is also gross but yeah hfs that percussion is awful. I kinda agree with your take on Where I End, but that bassline is strong and I dig its mood enough not to mind so much. The Gloaming on the other hand is probably the most unlistenable garbage this band have ever churned out

I like The Gloaming

And Love Backdrifts

They're kinda in the same category soundwise as Sit Down. Stand Up. of extra bleep bloopy electronic

speaking of sit down stand up what do we think of that climax boys? doesnt it seem a little muddled for how cool the buildup is? if KID A proved they could do awesome big climax thingies (the national anthem, morning bell, optimistic) maybe this album is the opposite........whos to say. not me
