listening now and it's good, but kind of strangely produced (?) or maybe just sung, like something is different and I can't tell if it's a good thing or not

i think ive said this before on other threads, but these guys kind of fell off for me personally.

i saw them live before ever hearing their recordings, back in like 2009 at a skate park (local) where heavy / local pxc bands would play. their sound was... fucking insane. wall of distortion sound. but so much twang (telecaster players). they all had trucker hats and were balding and beards and their drummer played while smoking a cig. It was amazing.

Saw them live like 2 more times over 2010-2011, and when the Season came out, i was soooo thankful they ALMOST captured their live energy on it. (previous EP got it... ok too)

everything after the season was really... bland for me. but ive seen them live even as numerous members left and they were good. just not as amazing as the OG lineup 2009-2012ish

though, they did release a 2 song single at some point called foxhole and something else. those songs captured that live rage well

didnt know they had a new album... will check it out, with minor reluctancy

just listen to the 2008 EP and tell me it don't fuck harder than this new album. i jammed it a bit. doesn't feel the same as they used to for me.
