Lowkey, even I don't like this.

I'm a little shocked that you gave it a 1 tbh, I would've guessed a 2/2.5

I love cheesy music, I really do, especially when a band is truly passionate about said change.
But when it's so forcibly contrived, lazy, and clearly meant for financial gain like it is here...
Yuck.

Band's covering PVRIS now. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=paImWUNYP70
Somehow this cover is better than the whole album.

When did PVRIS get big enough for bands like this to cover them? What the hell?
|

amazing at just how low this band got
and I really like their first three albums

The fact that they could make a comeback after We Rule the Night, only to fall even father is astounding.
The fact that an acoustic ballad called "Closure" is the 2nd to last track on this album is perhaps the greatest atrocity I've ever heard.
|
| |
I had no idea they'd top "we rule the night"
Or should I say "bottom" it
|
| |
Listened to a few tracks, this is like a worse Eskimo Callboy before their meme material
|
| |
This is some next level of horrendousness
|
| |
"I mean, Oli Sykes' vocals have improved a LOT but jesus christ Bring Me the Horizon have really lost it since Sempiternal"
that sound-off made me lol hard

The Unguided existing also didn't help if you had to choose between the two bands

The Unguided is solid. tops anything this band has done since Eden Fire

Album Rating: 1.5
thank fuck we got the unguided at least.
|

Eden Fire sounded like a redeemable beginning for a band, although that clown of a screamer they had was bad even then

this may be their best

iconic death metal album
|
| |
btw just realized that the name "the unguided" in and of itself is a jab at sonic syndicate, as if to point out that band in fact is guided, by the record label to make music aimed at making the most money possible
