Haha true dat. Like as much as I love better known artists like Kanye and Kendrick, they can get a little boring to talk about with people in person

"Very rarely do I connect to people in real life over music"
Oh I feel you. The weird thing is that I keep trying in my circle of friends, but I'm getting this lable as "the dude with the heavy shit noone bothers to listen" lmao but at least they aknowledged something when I showed them my sput numbers lol
(Which I told them its nothing compares with some others)

I’m lucky that I managed a conversation about Bowie recently, it’s an enourmous struggle. Quite easy to find guys into British ‘indie’ music but it’s usually the obvious stuff I discarded almost as soon as it came out over a decade ago.

If you don’t know who Bowie is then there’s something wrong with you lol

No I meant it was nice to have a conversation with someone who knows his work a little more extensively, we were taking about Lodger for example, not just the classic singles or odd album like Ziggy/Heroes.
Yes of course you’d need to be an idiot, haha

Yeah I know who Bowie is but I’m definitely not familiar enough with his work to have a legit conversation with someone over it

Yea I’m just saying if you don’t at least know who it is it’s just like what? Trust me, I’ve met plenty of people like this in passing.

Well that’s not what I meant at all, not knowing who he is strikes me as very odd indeed.

I need to travel to fucking Arctangent Festival to find people with whom I can talk about music. However, I can always sneak some TDEP (Black Bubblegum) or Mr. Bungle and that shit into the playlist and then it's all "OOOOH THAT'S TDEP?!"

Last time I was in the car with some friends and the friend's phone died and I was the only one with music on the phone...I played motherfucking tetris and Super Mario Theme because the rest is stuff people get offended by (even fucking NIN)

They never played honeysuckle live right? Someone would die in that pit

That would be the best way to go out
I would have driven across the country to see them play this front to back

"They never played honeysuckle live right? Someone would die in that pit"
nope...what a shame! That was exactly the song I wished to see live on their farewell tour. In the first fractures of a second of 43% burnt I thought it was honeysuckle...but 43% is also okay I guess.
gimme dissociation front to back and I can die in peace

That would be a bomb-ass concert.

since Manufacturing Discontent and Honeysuckle are probably my favs off this album and directly follow each other, I most likely faint from exhaustion after that

This is probably their craziest album thinking about it, even more multi-faceted/maniacal than usual.
Limerent Death's outro still hits like a truck.

I don't know why but I can't get to love Limerent Death as much as everybody else. tbh I think it is one of their weaker openers, considering they are all top notch

The song itself is good but that outro takes it to god-tier.
Not one of my faves either man and probably their weakest opener aside from Prancer.
