On third listen now and there are some solid cuts on it. The opening two singles I've never had a problem with. "Meet Me On the Roof" is great, love that one.

new ones fine. singles are the worst songs, and even more confusing considering billie actually sings in his vocal range on the rest of the album, but junkies on a high is also bad. i like sugar youth and graffitia a lot, with the former being probably the closest to a straightforward green day ass pop punk banger. rest is decent. mostly just sounds like a better version of the trilogy, thanks to the trashy and generally pretty shitty sounding proudction here suiting the songs more than the trilgoy's super clean production. its obviously not one of their better albums, but its not as completely devoid of merit as i thought it'd be so ill take it

Wow that new album is fucking terrible omg. Stab You In The Heart is a fun little tune, and the record only clocks in at 26 minutes, but the positives end right there.

A great return to form for Green day after the wild misfire that was the trilogy, overall I'd give the trilogy a VERY LIGHT 3.5, but RevRad sounds like Green Day back to making focused great songs again

Man watching their recent small venue live show on YouTube and I've realized Bang Bang has to be their most fun song for live since American Idiot. That song is so fucking sick live especially in a small venue. I saw them for their standard show so I didn't get to experience it, still amazing but the small venue lineup is so crazy:

Only good Green Day in the 2010s and 2020s so far.

Honestly this is the only one in that time I'm absolutely confident they were trying their best. Pretty sure uno dos tres were c sides from 20 years and the last one b sides.
