Looking forward to hearing this one. Honestly, if you've heard one Meshuggah album you've heard em all and that's totally fine with me.

I say let them keep doing their shtick until they can't anymore.

album is sick; clockworks, ivory tower, and our rage are my immediate favorites

pretty much every track seems really strong to me; usually not my experience with meshuggah's records even though they're a very consistent band

Not feeling this at the moment, Clockworks is great and the singles are neat but the rest of it just comes and goes, probably gonna be a grower.

There are are few slower cuts here that really don't do it for me, Sound like stuff from Nothing which was never my fav album.

I think that guitar sound they have here and the similar one on Koloss kinda killed them both for me--that unendingly pummeling tone just gets really samey and makes the whole thing more of a chore to sit through. No opinion on this album at this point, but I do hope the next one gets a bit more experimental and proggy.

Mr. Robot lost me in the second season. Ending was cool and the whole twist mid season was great but it kinda felt like it was lost up its own arse a lot of the time.
